Jimmy is survived by his partner, Katherine; his son, Robert Earl Cook and his wife Jessie of Rye, Colorado; daughter, Teresa Ann Cook of Conroe, son, Christopher Lynn Cook and his wife, Anissa of Conroe, and their mother Bitty; sister, Nelda Cook Hoefelmeyer and her husband, Carl; brother, Horace Dale Cook and his wife, Nancy; one grandson, Roy Austin Lum and his wife, Courtney, one granddaughter, Rebecca Rose; and two great-grandsons, Cyle and Caleb; and his nephews and nieces, Mark Cook, Kevin Patterson, Danny Cook, William Hoefelmeyer, Karla Blackstock and Deanna Snow, along with several great-nieces and nephews.
