I've sent an email to support, as advised in the stickied thread, but gotten no response beyond the automated "we got your email" response. Once it's in the list click on check for update. Then I downloaded the PBsetup program and ran it, that didn't help either. I did get a response from support a few days ago and was finally able to fix the problem.
Other than using Steam (because I don't) does anyone have any idea how I could fix this? Also, I have yet to receive a response to my email to support. After that I'm uninstalling the game and you'll lose a customer and a potential source of income. In addition to running the PB setup program, as support advised, I also had to download the correct Player Client File from this page the Gamers First htm folder, and overwrite the older version in order to get Punk Buster to successfully update. This wasn't explained well in either the stickied thread or in the email I received from support. I followed all of the instructions in the stickied thread. I uninstalled, reinstalled and updated PB manually and then I kept getting the "kicked for no packet flow" message.
I'd like to spend money on this game, but I'm certainly not going to do so if I can't even play it for more than 8 - 10 minutes at a time. If your company is ok with that then feel free to not bother trying to help me. I suspect the Punk Buster site may have changed since those were written. I've sent an email to support, as advised in the stickied thread, but gotten no response beyond the automated "we got your email" response.
