Meanwhile, I felt like a total idiot with my old cell phone that didn’t even have a camera.
This isn’t exclusive to the big cities either — this happened in the dusty village where I grew up.
wonder how u ppl feel xxx hi all.....m also married to a pakistani guy but in my case its the other way around...has lived most of hz life here while m totally pakistani...brought up there.....n ya its really frustrating some times cz its really hard to understand each other...we have to keep trying ..how it is..of luck to all having problems..God help all.... sometimes i feel maybe marriage is a complicated thing anyways! Yes i can understand the cultural difference even if you are pakistani yourself but you're born here and ur dh has grown up in Pakistan, as my friend is in the same position and they are bickering always like crazy because the way of thinking is so different! I'm married to a Pakistani and have been for the past 6 years (we've been together for 7 1/2 years) and my husband was brought up in Pakistan, moved to Britain about 10 years ago.
i do have faith that things wud be alot different n better had we been on our own..... One thing I say to you all is that if you become what they want you to be then you might be betraying your true self.
despite being in the same house and sitting right next to him, i miss my husband..... i dont feel married...i feel like im in a prison...... So what I can say to you girls is that at the end of the day, it is about how much you love each other and how much you want the other person in your life.

A friend of mine dated an Indian guy who seemed very "American" but ended up being SUPER traditional and she couldn't handle it.
